Alex ZhangInvestor

Alex is a technologist and investor focusing on semiconductors, quantum technology, and next-generation compute infrastructure.

Before joining Matter, Alex served leading global semiconductor and technology infrastructure companies at McKinsey & Company where he also built the Quantum Technology practice. Earlier, Alex was a Member of the Technical Staff at MIT Lincoln Laboratory, where he led the development of quantum computing, communication, and sensing systems based on solid-state qubits and integrated photonics. Alex holds a PhD in Applied Physics from Harvard University and BA in Physics from Swarthmore College.
