Brock is an engineering leader passionate about solving impactful problems at the intersection of technology, business, and society.
Before joining Matter Venture Partners, Brock led design and service initiatives in Tesla’s Energy and Optimus programs, as well as process and field quality improvements for Industrial Storage and Supercharger systems. Prior to Tesla, he was a Founding Engineer and later Director of Systems Engineering at Fulfil, where he invented core technology, built and scaled the systems organization, and guided two generations of full-stack robotic fulfillment systems from concept to production. He began his career at SunPower bringing advanced solar manufacturing systems to scale around the world.
Brock holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley. A lifelong builder, he constructed his own home, and spends his free time woodworking, skiing, and exploring the outdoors.
